The Antioquian Museum

This beautiful Museum, overlooking thePlaza Botero, was the first to be founded in the state of Antioquia in 1881, and the second to be established in the whole of Colombia. In its galleries, more than 5 thousand pieces are exhibited, distributed in temporary and itinerant exhibitions both from national and foreign artists.

The artist Fernando Botero, a great patron to the museum, has his own permanent collection of 188 oil paintings, drawings and sculptures in different sizes.
